Advantages

Ceramic brake pads installed in private cars have long service life, no change in aesthetics, no scratches when used, because the formula is unique, and there will be no debris left on the brake device. The life of ceramic materials is more than 50% longer than that of ordinary semi-metallic materials.
3. Low noise. In the state of wading and the state of salt water, there is no squeal when braking, and the braking performance is good.
4. It is good for the brake disc, and the service life of the brake disc is more than 20% higher than that of the semi-metal brake pad. Has good mechanical strength and physical properties, can withstand large pressure and shear force, and fast heat dissipation will not affect braking.
5. Ceramic does not contain metal components and has better heat dissipation performance, high temperature resistance, and is more capable of continuous high temperature braking, achieving shorter braking distance, strong durability, less dual wear, and much better performance than ordinary brake pads.
Disadvantages
1. Due to its expensive material and high practicability, its price is higher than that of general brake pads.
2. Not suitable for use in heavy-duty vehicles, such as trucks for hauling and lifting goods, etc. It is better to use semi-metallic linings for such trucks.
Semi-metallic Brake Pads
Advantages
1. The price is cheap.
2. The applicable models cover a wide range.
Disadvantages
1. Semi-metallic brake pads are mostly composed of semi-metal or less metal materials, so they are not like ceramic brake pads in terms of high temperature resistance, and are easy to rust.
2. The material is relatively hard, so it is not easy to produce abnormal noise when braking.
